Meet Dr. Alysia
Your Guide to Understanding Your Body
I’m Dr. Alysia Swint, MD, MPH — a physician and public health researcher redefining how we talk about women’s health. My work explores the intersection of epigenetics, trauma, and lifestyle, drawing from both research and personal experience to illuminate how our bodies remember what we live through.
After years in clinics witnessing how little time women are given to understand their own biology — and experiencing my own health crisis — I realized that true healing begins with education. I now focus on bringing these conversations to media, public health platforms, and women themselves through writing, speaking, and digital health innovation.
My Approach & Philosophy
I believe health is biology + story + context. Epigenetics reveals that our genes are not fate—they respond to stress, diet, environment, sleep, relationships, and the narratives we carry.
But science without soul is hollow. My mission is to make body literacy, preventive care, and epigenetic healing accessible—not elite or mystical.
